The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, a Deemed-to-be University under the Distinct Category, has announced walk-in interviews for contractual teaching faculty and other contractual faculty positions. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 02/2026–27.
Eligible candidates may attend the interviews scheduled from 26 to 28 August 2026. The appointments will be temporary, initially for 11 months, and may be extended depending on performance and institutional requirements.

The institute has also announced one post of Chief Technical Officer for the Centre for Experiential Learning and one post of Assistant Professor (Psychology)/Counsellor. The interview dates for these two positions will be announced separately.

Qualifications and Preferences
Qualifications differ according to the position. Candidates applying for science, English and Indian Knowledge Systems disciplines generally require a relevant master’s degree and Ph.D. Engineering positions require suitable undergraduate and postgraduate engineering qualifications, normally with First Class or equivalent academic performance.
Depending on the discipline, candidates with NET, GATE or GPAT qualifications will be preferred. Applicants should carefully verify the post-specific qualifications, experience requirements and desirable specialisations in the official notification before attending the interview.
Monthly Remuneration
Selected contractual Assistant Professors will receive consolidated remuneration as follows:
- Assistant Professor with a Ph.D.: ₹80,000 per month
- Assistant Professor with a master’s degree: ₹65,000 per month
No additional allowances, medical reimbursement, vacation salary or compensatory leave will be payable.
