A bane called Politics

Politics refers to the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, especially the debate between parties having power.

Politics is the way that people living in groups make decisions. Politics is about making agreements between people so that they can live together peacefully and with harmony.

I am calling politics a bane because no matter how much we try to cover it but none of us can deny the fact that yes, politics is a bane to mankind and society. True that there have been a lot of development from our government but all of it at a cost called degradation.

Politics is a complex topic to be understood by people. They often misinterpretes the definition of politics and form an opinion about the same.

Listed below are some facts, currently being experienced by citizens of India.

Amit Shah with Yogi Adityanath go about the ugly business of consolidating a majoritarian idea of India.

Baba Ramdev made billions peddling a range of therapeutic products of dubious value.

Ranjan Gogoi is, by wide consensus, the worst of the 47 chief justices to have served inIndia’s Supreme Court since independence.

Arnab Goswami is the exemplar of the TV anchor who has poisoned political debate in India.

India’s politics is conducted not in parliament but on Twitter and WhatsApp, where the BJP’s trolls vilify journalists.

Economic growth and investment have cooled and inflation remains high. The quality of India's politicians, many argue, has declined drastically, as in many parts of the world. Most of them seem to be out of sync with modern day realities - expectations have fallen so ridiculously low that an iPad carrying politician is described by the media as a modern one!

The reality infront of us states it way better as to how politics has been playing with Indians since years.
