The impact of gratitude on mental health.

Mental health is very important for every person to have a positive framework of mind. How we think affects our outlook towards life. Showing gratitude and positivity can keep our brains in a happy and healthier state of mind. When we are thankful about something and show appreciation towards it, our brains are conditioned into feeling happy and content. We feel good about ourselves, and feel grateful about the fact that we are prioritising something that should be given that appreciation. If we have a negative perception and feeling about things, our minds start thinking of the “what if” scenarios, which causes a lot of overthinking and unwanted anxiety. Practicing gratitude can be as simple as acknowledging small daily joys plus one can be grateful for anything and everything that holds value in their life. One can be grateful to someone when they support or extend kindness. It is essential to find happiness in everything. Good mental health is directly linked with being joyful and having an optimistic outlook therefore we all should change the way we think and must direct it in a constructive direction.
