In the present day, practicing meditation and mindfulness is essential for every individual. It is advantageous for staying calm and composed, especially for students. Students often feel stressed due to studies, career concerns, and other factors, which cause them to feel overwhelmed and anxious. When we practice meditation, we transit into a state of thoughtlessness, which reduces anxiety. We become more focused on the present than the future. Moreover, the unwanted anticipation about the future and confusion are reduced. Meditation is not just limited to praying or sitting in silence. In contrast, for many people, it can take the form of activities such as drawing, crocheting, cooking, etc. One must choose what suits them. Mindfulness brings clarity of thought; we get an opportunity for self-reflection and self-awareness. Additionally, meditation can enable students to focus effectively on their studies and also help them to become more productive and calm. If one is in a good state of mind, they are able to perform effectively in every task. In schools meditation sessions should be conducted for students to start their day with positivity and tranquility. Meditation should be a habit for everyone and should be included in their routines for gradually achieving a stable state of mind over time.
