At present times, journaling has become a trend across the world. It is a way for people to express themselves and how they feel. Journaling can be similar to diary writing, for example writing about how your day went on an everyday basis or reflecting on a negative experience. When we journal, we jot down all the thoughts and feelings that we have in our minds, which makes us feel better. However, sometimes it’s difficult to talk to people or open up to them about our issues, and that’s where journaling becomes a valuable outlet. Journaling serves as an outlet for ideas and reflections, and so it’s not necessary that it has to be in a written form. In contemporary times journaling is even done through art creativity for example putting up pictures or symbols of memories picked up from different places. When we do journaling it broadens our understanding and we are able to look at the scenarios from a deeper perspective. It encourages imagination beyond routine thinking, which enhances creativity. Self- introspection and self-awareness becomes easier as we write about our lives. From children to adults everyone should try to do journaling to comprehend our thoughts and our emotions.
