How Extracurricular Activities Shape a Student’s Personality

Education plays a major role in a student’s life. It makes them knowledgeable and secures their career, but extracurricular activities play an equally important role. Extracurricular activities help children develop critical thinking skills from a young age which enhances their personality and confidence. Co-curricular activities help a child to explore their interests beyond studies. Children become aware of new fields and they may also end up finding a new hobby. Some students may excel in other fields than education. Some examples include - Drawing, music, sports, crocheting and others. Activities that involve multiple people improve their social skills when they interact with other learners. Other fields include volunteering, which aids children in developing brilliant leadership skills. Students also learn about the importance of time management and how to manage multiple tasks and projects within the timeframe. Non-scholastic activities also relieve stress from taking burden of exams. In every school and even at college level extracurricular activities should be promoted and encouraged to empower every student. Every child is special in their own way and therefore as adults we should empower students to pursue their dreams and passion.
